This 37,000 square foot ambulatory and non-ambulatory patient ward
facility for the Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation
located at the Travis State School campus, came in well below the
projected budget. Building design, orientation, and site development
allowed for generous and controlled use of daylight which enhanced the
quality of life for residents and staff at Travis State School.
