Extensive interior renovation and retrofit work in the 1929 vintage Norwood
Tower, a 14-story Austin Landmark (known when originally constructed as
the second air conditioned building west of the Mississippi River), included
all new building services, common area amenities, and interior spaces
for most of the multi and full floor tenants as well as new street level
quarters for Alliance Bank.
